India’s 5 year old chess champs!

Indians put up a splendid  performance at the recently held Asian Schools Chess Championship 2013 in Sri Lanka with 8 gold and 4 silver medals in the classical format,6 gold,5 silver and 1 bronze in the Blitz section and 11 gold,1 silver and 1 bronze in the Rapid format.

The  five -year old kids however stole the show. These wonder kids, barely tall enough to hold their trophies, showed immense maturity and mental acuity at the tournament.

Ananth Ramdas from Tamil Nadu also won two silver medals.
